The Minto design was originally built by the Eddon Boat company of Gig Harbor during the 1950’s. The Eddon company is gone now but local history says Eddon took the Minto mold from an old wooden dinghy from Saltspring Island, British Columbia. The Eddon company later sold the mold to the also now defunct Ranger Boat company. Ranger was very successful with the Minto which turned into a large sailing class in the Northwest.
This is a very nicely restored and complete version of the Ranger Minto. It has a two-piece varnished wood mast, complete rigging with mainsail, teak gunwales with canvas bumper, Sunbrella rig storage bag, brand new green Sunbrella cover and pair or oars. Also included is a virtually new trailer. Price for the package is $2495. If you don’t need the trailer we can sell the boat for $1995.
