If you live on or near a beach, or have access to water via a sidewalk or hand launch ramp,
we have just the item for you, A Sietech Dolly. These dollies work very well for the lighter boats,
generally 150lbs. and less. The weight of the boat is balanced mostly on the strap, so that
nearly anyone can move the boat even up the incline of a beach.
Often you can drive your boat to a local park with a swim beach in the off season and transfer
the boat from cartop rack or trailer to the dolly. A short walk down the sidewalk to the beach,
and you've got a no waiting boat launch. In general parks are open to this sort of activity
with wind and oar propelled boats. Check your local park's regulations to be sure though.
The dolly breaks down for storage easily. The wheels come right off with a cotterpin on each.
There is a pushlock fastner on the tow bar, which seperates it in the middle.
And the rear half of the tow bar is held to the axel bar with
two wing nut bolts. Disassembly takes only minutes, and the whole rig will fit inside
the boat for long term storage.

Captain's Gig at the boat show sitting on a dolly.
We use this dolly at the show both to demonstrate how easy it is to move the boat for
customers and to move it out of our way when we are looking at the other boats.

14' Whitehall in our boatyard sitting on a dolly.
We sometimes use these dollies to move our boats around the yard while we are waiting
for customers to come and pick up their new boat.
The prices for the dollies for each boat style can be found on our
prices page.
